The Day Before A Trip

Here's my last little note before I leave for Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. Like every other trip, the evening before is always chaotic at my house. My dad is in the computer room handing the cameras, tickets, booking, and planning aspects of the trip. My mom stands in the kitchen, cooking up some Indian snacks that we can take with us on the way and have as a back-up plan just in case we don't find any vegetarian food. I'm a last-minute packer, so I'm in my room charging all of my technology, making lists of everything I'm taking, cleaning my room, doing my hair, painting my nails, telling everyone my goodbyes, and just making sure I don't forget a thing. I won't get any sleep tonight because I'll be up late getting things together, but that's okay. It's my own little tradition to pull an all-nighter the day before my flight. This way, I will get plenty of rest on my long plane ride. and I won't get bored. Smart thinking, right?
Oh golly, it's going to be a busy few days.
I hope to write a little about my experiences when I get time, and I'll type it all up on here after I come home.
Happy Holidays everyone!
Ta Ta!
