Hit or Miss: The Performing Arts

Hit: During my visit to South America, I enjoyed a traditional Argentinean tango show. It consisted of many dances, along with vocal and instrumental performances of Argentinian music. The dancers were excellent. Their steps were very quick and precise, and they looked like they were enjoying the dance. I loved watching the band perform because they played instruments I had never seen before. The atmosphere was a nice place to sit in, and I had a spendid night.

Miss: Since I enjoyed the Argentinian tango show, my family decided to attend a Brazilian samba show. Waste. Of. Money. The dancers wore revealing costumes and performed loosely choreographed dances that only required them to shake their behinds back and forth. Honestly, my little nine-year-old cousin could probably dance better than that.

The band plays some classical Argentinian tunes.
