This is for yesterday.
I finally got to sleep in after a pretty hectic week. I didn’t go to Stonehenge and Bath with the rest of ISA because I’m going with my family anyway. When I woke up, I worked on my articles.
Then I set off, originally, to go to Trafalgar Square for West End live. I walked around everywhere. I went really far on Old Street and then I got on a random bus that was headed towards Oxford Circus. Instead, I got off at Hoxton and just started walking. I was really impatient and the Northern line being closed was really annoying for my transportation. I kept walking and saw a cool looking building, so I decided to go closer. It was the British Museum. It was a really beautiful building with a lot of pillars. Then, I went to the nearest tube station and went to Charing Cross.
When I got out, I was right at Trafalgar. Since it was starting to rain, I went to the National Gallery first. Then, I sat on the steps outside and watched the show for a little.
I took the tube back to King’s Cross and then hopped on a 214 bus that I thought was going to Old Street. After sitting on it for a while, I was starting to get worried. Old Street wasn’t coming and it seemed like I was getting farther and farther away from the center of London. I got off at a random stop almost at the end of Zone 2 and I realized I was heading in the wrong direction. I crossed the street and headed back towards the centre city. I fell asleep on the bus because I was so tired, but I woke up in time to get off.
I came back and chilled in my room until they came back from Stonehenge.
My friends and I went out and it was super fun. There are some really nice places here and it's really lively on Saturday night.
